The absolute contraindications for thrombolytic therapy include: previous intracranial hemorrhage, known structural cerebral vascular lesions, known malignant intracranial neoplasms, ischemic stroke within the past three months (except if it is an acute ischemic stroke within three hours), suspected aortic dissection, active bleeding or bleeding diathesis (excluding menses), and significant closed-head or facial trauma within the last three months.
